Prices are all in £sterling. For other currencies see below. Sizes are all in inches. Framing is not included.
The prices below include
- either a head study or full body of one animal only. (NOTE: For each extra animal please add an extra 15%.)
- a double mount, backing and wrapping. (Note: Framing is NOT included)

Optional Extras
You can now choose to have:
- your coloured pencil or pastel portrait done on Ampersand pastelbord. This means the portrait can be varnished and framed without the need for glass.
- Backgrounds are extra and only available by arrangement.

Payments made in other currencies

Please note that if paying in another currency, the price you will pay in your currency will depend on the conversion rate which applies to the way you choose to pay at the due date of all stage payments. All exchange rate fees are payable by the client.

- whether the portrait is of one or more animals. Note multiple animals cost more and can only be portrayed in the larger format sizes.
- whether or not to pay extra for a background
- how best to provide me with information about what the animal looks like and the colour of its fur and eyes

- before I start to work | Before I start a commission I will need:
- You to confirm in writing the agreed size and price.
- as much information about the animal as possible where this aids the process of developing the portrait. As a minimum this should include a photograph as a full resolution digital file.
- to confirm when I can start work on the commission
- a deposit which we will discuss when you confirm an order.
| Photography
and
other information
about the animal | Animals are not known for sitting still - so I work from photographs.
Prior to commencing a portrait, I need:
- at least one good high resolution photograph (the bigger the better - ideally TIFF format) supplied on a CD or by email.
- as many photographs as you can supply - if hard copies all will be returned
- information about the coat and eye colour if I don't meet the animal so I achieve a good match. PLEASE NOTE: I can be commissioned to take photographs for a set fee plus expenses - please enquire for further details.
| | Timescales | The timescale needed to complete a portrait will always depend on the size and complexity of the image required for the commission - and the number of orders already accepted. I will give you a rough estimate of completion date.
